About Cronch

What is Cronch?

Cronch is a personal agent for developers that plans meals, water and breaks around your calendar and pings you when it’s time.

Who is Cronch for?

People who work at a computer all day, developers first. If you regularly look up at 3pm and realize you skipped lunch, it’s for you.

Why is it called “cron jobs for your body”?

Cron is the Unix scheduler that runs jobs at set times. Cronch does the same for meals, water and breaks: it schedules them around your day and pings you when one is due.

When can I use it?

The private beta opens in small batches. Join the waitlist and you’ll get one email with your invite when your spot is ready.

How it works

How do I set it up?

A one-minute conversation. Tap, type or talk to answer a few questions: diet, allergies, how much you want to cook, the food you love, your goal and how you want to be pinged. You can edit everything later like a config file.

Will it ping me in the middle of a meeting?

It shouldn’t. Pings route around the meetings you add and never fire during quiet hours.

How does Cronch know about my meetings?

Paste them in plain text, like “standup 10:00, 1:1 15:30”, or connect your calendar with a secret iCal link. Cronch reads only the start time, end time and title of today’s events and never writes to your calendar.

How often does it ping me?

Every 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes during your work hours, alternating water and short breaks, and never during quiet hours. Pings arrive by email with one-click Done and Snooze links, or you can work from the Today dashboard.

Do I have to log calories?

No. You mark a job done, skipped or snoozed. That’s the whole input.

What happens when I snooze or skip?

Snooze pushes the job 15 minutes by default. Skip clears it without counting against you. Replan rebuilds the rest of the day if your afternoon changes.

Can I put the plan in my calendar?

Yes. Download today’s plan as an .ics file and your phone or calendar app does the reminding.

Food

Does Cronch order food for me?

No. It suggests a dish and opens a search on Uber Eats, DoorDash or Google Maps. You choose and check out yourself.

What happens when I say “I’m hungry”?

Cronch gives you options that fit your diet, allergies and budget right now, with a short recipe or a pre-filled Uber Eats, DoorDash or Google Maps search. You pick one and check out yourself.

Does it handle allergies and diets?

Yes. Your diet and allergies shape every suggestion, and allergen filtering happens on Cronch’s servers, not only in the AI model.

AI apps, MCP and the CLI

Does Cronch work inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Cronch is a remote MCP server. Add it to ChatGPT, Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code or Cursor, then ask things like “what’s next today?” or “mark lunch done”.

What is the Cronch MCP server URL?

https://api.cronch.io/api/v1/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP with OAuth 2.1 sign-in, or a personal access token for clients without OAuth.

Is there a command line tool?

Yes. Install it with one line, then run cronch today, cronch hungry or cronch done. It needs Node.js 18 or newer.

Privacy and pricing

How much does Cronch cost?

It’s free during the private beta. Paid plans (Pro at $8 a month, Teams at $6 per seat a month) are planned and not on sale yet.

What do you store from this page?

Your email, the one answer you pick, which form you used, the page you came from, and when you joined. We never share it.

Do you sell my data or show ads?

No. Cronch keeps only what runs your day, uses no third-party analytics or tracking cookies, and you can delete your account and everything tied to it from Settings.
